Having prepared intimate catered receptions to multi-course galas including The Emmy’s and The Grammy’s, award-winning Chefs Pangilinan and Weber bring extensive experience in hospitality, catering, and private dining. Our team’s culinary ethos and geniality will transform your event into an experience that your guests will remember.

  • Event Bookings are confirmed with a non-refundable 20% deposit and signed contract. The deposit will be applied to the final balance on the day of the event. A credit card must be on file for any additional charges or Incidentals occurred on the day of the event.

  • All menu selections are required one month prior to the event date. Pre-counts and menu markers are required and to be provided by the client. Each menu package has the option of (1) starter, (1) entrée and (1) dessert. Additional options are available at $5 per person, per course with a maximum of two options per course.

  • We understand that clients may like to provide special wines from their personal collections. Catering by Mix Mix is happy to serve your wine for you with a $25 per 750ml bottle corkage fee. Magnums count as two bottles. This applies to wine only. No outside liquor Is permitted. Due to security reasons, bottle service is not permitted.

  • Guest wines must be delivered 24 hours prior to the event. Any wines left over from the event must be picked up the following business day. **Please note that the museum is closed on Mondays.

  • The final guest count is required 14 days prior to event. This number can increase up to 7 days prior to event and final billing will be adjusted accordingly. Pre-counts and markers are due 7 days prior to the event.

  • Guests are encouraged to visit our sister restaurants Terrace by Mix Mix or Populaire, both conveniently located in South Coast Plaza, for a sense of who we are and the food style.

    If you are a client who has booked an event with Catering by Mix Mix at OCMA, we are happy to offer a complimentary tasting for two guests. If you are looking for specific catering menu Items, we require a one-week reservation to secure food Items. If an event is booked after a tasting, we will gladly apply the total bill to the balance of the event.

  • Holidays and after hours will be subject to approval and additional fees may apply.

  • Vendor meals are available after guest service and will feature the same guest entrée as said on the menu. Cost per vendor meal Is $40 per person.
